After considering the case, judge Ajay Kumar Malik of Dwarka court passed an order restraining the channel from broadcasting the show.
“In view of above submissions, defendant M/s Times Now Navbharat/Times Group Media Channel is hereby directed to not to broadcast/telecast/print the news/statement/opinion under the heading of operation ‘PAAP’ against the plaintiff till next date of hearing,” the Court said.
The Court also issued summons on the suit and notice on the interim relief application and listed the case for further consideration the next day (Friday).
When the matter came up for hearing on Friday, the Court extended the interim order till August 23.
