The entertainment tabloid was informed that the media personality’s condition was not ‘serious,’ and was told she had been ‘dehydrated’ and was promptly given ‘an IV with fluids.’

In fact, the Be Happy singer, who has been embracing her new platinum locks, still planned to make an appearance at the D’Amelio Footwear launch party later Thursday, sources revealed to TMZ.

The media star shared an update of her own on Snapchat, and uploaded a selfie as she sat on a hospital bed while hooked up to a few monitors. Dixie then added a second selfie to respond to a question that read, ‘Are you okay?’ She humorously answered, ‘got too excited about the shoe launch.’

Later on Thursday at the family’s D’Amelio footwear launch, the star’s sister, Charli, also gave an additional update while talking to Entertainment Tonight.

‘She was just dehydrated, and she got some fluids. But she’s gonna be at the D’Amelio Footwear launch tonight, so you will see her. She is coming, she’s just getting ready right now.’

The singer, along with her younger sister, Charli, and mother, Heidi, collaborated to create the footwear collection, along with designer, Lauren DiCicco, who has worked with other celebrities such as Jessica Simpson.

The new brand offers a variety of styles and categories, such as sneakers, heels, boots, and also sandals.

Before the brief hospital scare, Dixie had jumped to her social media outlets, including Instagram and Snapchat, to count down the hours until the shoes officially launched for fans and consumers.

She had taken a close-up selfie wearing a white tank top and partially showed off her recently dyed, blonde locks. She had shown a link to the brand’s website, and penned in a caption, ‘one hour.’

The star then filmed herself as she told the camera, ‘The shoes have officially dropped,’ while linking to the official website. In her right hand, Dixie held a pair of $99 Karyenaa black pumps from the brand.

In another photo, she wore a pair of loose-fitting black jeans with a yellow stripe on each side, along with a matching denim jacket. She only added a black bralette underneath and slipped into a pair of $189 black Camdon boots while posing outdoors.

‘Sturdy shoes,’ she wrote in a caption over the photo, and also gave her fans and followers a closer look at the details of the black platform boots.

During an interview with L’Officiel to promote the footwear brand, which is under the company, D’Amelio Brands, Charli, Dixie, and Heidi expressed, ‘We have been extremely involved from the early inception of this project.’

‘Starting from the name to the designs and even down to the packaging. We wanted to ensure that the shoes were something we would wear, but that they were also really comfortable.’

They later added, ‘It was also so important to us that we try to keep the quality, while producing the shoes at a lower price point so it’s more attainable for our audience.’

When it came to differences in regards to creativity, the trio explained, ‘We don’t always agree, but that is the fun part of working together. It’s fun to jokingly and constructively argue about our different styles and preferences, even down to the best colors.’

‘As a family, we’ve been really good at listening to each other’s points of view, and we also value each other’s input. There is a variety and mix of styles, so you can see each of our styles reflected in the shoes.’

Dixie herself is no stranger to the world of footwear, and has been a brand ambassador for Puma since 2021. Earlier in March, the Someone To Blame songstress launched her own limited-edition PUMA x DIXIE collection.

‘I had so much fun selecting styles that aligned with what I personally gravitate towards in my own day-to-day fashion,’ she told People at the time.
