Police were called to the Oxford Union after three protesters disrupted the Kathleen Stock talk after only ten minutes.
Two protesters stood up, handed out leaflets, shouted “trans rights are human rights” and “no more dead trans kids”, and displayed a blue and pink trans flag. A third caused the event to be stopped by sitting quietly at the front of the stage in front of Stock and the chair of the Oxford Union, wearing a T-shirt that read “no more dead trans kids”
Police were called and entered the auditorium. It took five police officers to remove the seated protester, whose hands were glued to the floor. the talk resumed after a 24-minute delay.
