After reportedly having a major fallout during the shooting of ‘Dostana 2‘, it looks like Kartik Aaryan and Karan Johan have finally buried the hatchet.
Kartik paid a surprise visit to a multiplex in suburban Mumbai which was screening his film, ‘Satyaprem Ki Katha‘. While he was busy exchanging notes about the film with the media, Karan walked in with Maheep Kapoor.Although they were both present at the same venue, it is not clear if the director was there to watch the film. However, Karan and Kartik’s interaction surprised many. The director-actor duo was even seen sharing a hug.

Karan had announced the recasting of Dostana 2 on social media, in which Kartik Aaryan was supposed to share the screen space with Janhvi Kapoor. And that formed the cause of an alleged rift between them. Reacting to it, Kartik had told ETimes in an interview, “I believe in what my mother has taught me and these are my values too… when there’s an altercation between two people, the younger one should never speak about it. I follow that and hence I never speak about it.”
Meanwhile, ‘Satyaprem Ki Katha’ also stars Kartik’s ‘Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2’ co-star Kiara Advani in the lead role.
